Protests in Rochester have continued to escalate beyond Day 1 after the release of body camera footage, with groups quickly becoming more militant, but led by the actual Black Lives Matter Group, not any self-defined militant groups such as NYC Antifa. Protests are quickly snowballing in size the way that they did in places such as Minneapolis and Portland.
In other news, the police have begun to arrest and target activists working for Black Lives Matter in Rochester, including one activist who was arrested under the claim of ‘being a fucking idiot’.
