President Trump stated that the treatment of protesters in Portland has been a hoax, and that everyone has been treated fine. The Portland Mother’s Brigade, a group of moms protesting alongside the Youth Liberation Front and other militant groups, started off mostly peaceful, but then began to take a more active anti-government stance itself.

In Eugene, also in Oregon, the police tased a 14-year-old girl peacefully protesting as well.
