Protests in Kenosha began after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a father of 3 children. He was shot 7 times in the back, and as of the writing of this article remains alive. He is in the hospital at the moment, and riots across the city have begun in his honor.
The courthouse has been set on fire, as have several car dealerships and other places around Kenosha, and mass protests have also been sparked in the city. The video below is a 2-hour-long livestream of the immediate protests following the shooting of Blake.
