Protests and riots have erupted in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after police shot Jacob Blake, a husband and father of three, 7 times in the back, without probably cause or any possible reason to feel threatened. Many downtown businesses and courthouses have been set on fire in Kenosha, and protests have also erupted downtown.

Last night, protesters in Portland had set up a phalanx of sorts with a shield wall, attempting to deescalate a confrontation with police, which failed drastically, with police charging the line and detaining several demonstrators.
After a police officer shot and wounded a 20-year-old man on Sunday, protesters and citizens immediately began looting and starting a night of unrest in the city, seizing goods from hundreds of stores. The looting was centered around Goose Island neighborhood, and some protests occurred as well.
